What's This Job All About?

The Trust Operations Specialist – Securities Processing is primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently creating, reviewing, and posting of a variety of trust security transactions utilizing trust accounting software. Additionally, this individual follows, writes and enhances work instructions and procedures ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policy and internal divisional procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Import, review, process and post external account free receipts and free deliveries ensuring timely response in fulfillment of client requests
  • Review, process and post internal account transfers ensuring timely response in fulfillment of client requests.
  • Coordinate, review, process and post corporate action transactions ensuring timely reflection of changes to holdings in client accounts and maintaining complete and accurate records of all activity per policy
  • Prepare, review and monitor statement review spreadsheets to verify assets that can be held and transferred in kind and to track account transfer timelines
  • Review, affirm, confirm, and reconcile trade orders ensuring timely execution and settlement in fulfillment of client investment needs as presented through trade orders
  • Monitor, batch, process and post monthly/quarterly fees
  • Review, maintain and retain in appropriate location all required documentation ensuring complete and accurate retention per policy
  • Review, post, and reconcile transactions for accounts where assets are held outside of Greenleaf Trust (e.g. account shadowing) ensuring timely reporting of account activity in conjunction with monthly/quarterly statement preparation
  • Participation in designated workgroups/strike force teams and projects as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 1 year of operations experience in a financial services environment with some Trust Operations experience preferred or equivalent education and experience.
