Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

 

 

With extreme confidentiality, ensure comprehensive service is provided to external ultra-high net worth clients through coordination of efforts and workflow of the Greenleaf Trust Team, outside advisors and service providers. Partners closely with the Family Office Team to provide a full range of family office services to help clients clarify and meet their goals/objectives through research, expertise and creative strategic recommendations focused on family wealth governance and family wealth optimization.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Provide proactive, “high touch” client care, communication and service to a select number of ultra-high net worth families.
  • Assist with the development of a personalized Family Wealth Plan and Service Agreement at the onset of the relationship as well as development of ongoing strategies to achieve the client’s near term goals and ultimate legacy plan objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a basis of knowledge in key areas such as trust and estate planning, investment management including an alternative asset expertise, retirement planning, tax planning and other areas touching the clients’ lives.
  • Facilitate education for clients and their families as desired or needed on a variety of topics.
  • Solve problems for clients using both internal and external resources.
  • Coordinate with client’s external professionals, such as legal and tax advisors.
  • Facilitate effective reporting and communication to clients and other interested parties.
  • Oversee and monitor all family office activity including the process of transferring funds, securities, and other assets in coordination with the Family Office team.
  • Ensure appropriate and relative documentation is on file.
  • Participate in event-driven marketing events for Family Office clients.
  • Act in a fiduciary capacity to perform activities relative to the Family Office.
  • Accountable for the performance of the Family Office team including risk management and compliance, as well as service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with one or more of the following certifications or advanced degrees strongly preferred: CFA, CPA, JD or LLM.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience providing an extremely high level of personalized customer service to ultra-high net worth families with specialization in the areas of investment management, estate planning, trust administration, and/or equivalent education and experience.
